[Important] U.S. Import Duties and Sakura Beauty Pricing Policy
Thank you for choosing Sakura Beauty.
This is an important notice regarding changes to U.S. import duties and related shipping services. These changes affect all businesses shipping products from Japan to the United States.
Please read this notice carefully.
- Elimination of the de minimis Rule
Starting Friday, August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will abolish the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed imports valued at $800 or less to enter duty-free.
As a result, all products imported into the U.S., regardless of purchase amount, will now be subject to import duties.
Sakura Beauty’s Response and Pricing Policy
Our Pricing Commitment First and foremost, here is our promise to you:
At this time, we will not pass import duties on to our product prices. To maintain fairness and transparency, our prices will continue to reflect the true value of our products.
Duties, Taxes, and Additional Fees
Import duties are not included in our product prices. For orders shipped via UPS, FedEx, or DHL, any applicable duties and related fees must be paid separately by the customer.
Once your package arrives in the United States, the carrier will contact you directly regarding the payment of applicable duties, customs clearance, and brokerage fees. Please follow their instructions to complete payment so that you can receive your order.
